So even though it is a GNU application, Shotwell does not have a configuration to its publication plugins to export lossless images.
Which means it is useless for the purpose.
There’s a couple hundred hours of my life I will never get back. If I wanted to publish crap photos I would not be investing time and effort into photo management. I mean, really? it is not even possible to configure without writing it myself? Then what the hell do I need your tool for? every OS has a shitty photo manager; what GNU is known for is having hyper-configurable applications.
This ain’t it.
This is an effing straight-jacket for feebs.
The git repo does not have bugtracking enabled. One cannot even make a feature request.
